Updates to Volume I between June 8, 2025 and September 10, 2025

We describe in the following how Volume I of the DRAFT User's Manual has changed since the last DRAFT manual. We categorize the changes into New and Error Fixes and Clarifications. We exclude typo fixes and prosaic rearrangements from this document.

*AIRBAG_PARTICLE: Added to description of HCONV < 0 that the curve can now be defined with *DEFINE_CURVE_FUNCTION.

*ALE_MAPPING: Added ND to card 2.

*BOUNDARY_PRESCRIBED_FINAL_GEOMETRY: Added IBRTH to Card 1. Added Card 2b.

*CONTACT_OPTIONS: Added additional contact types to description of TCSO on optional Card D.

*CONTROL_IMPLICIT_EIGENVALUE: Changed the default for RPARM1 on Card 3d to 200. Updated the second paragraph of Remark 5 due to the change in the default.

*CONTROL_MAT: Added MAEF = 2. Added PSMAEF.

*CONTROL_SHELL: Added sentences to the descriptions of ISTUPD = 5 and 6 about it also applying to the internal energy for shell element type 16.

*DATABASE_OPTION: Added keyword options GLSTAT_DR, MATSUM_DR, and SLEOUT_DR.

*DATABASE_EXTENT_BINARY: Added sentence to the description of L for STRFLG about cohesive elements.

*DATABASE_TRACER_GENERAL: Added COR to Card 1.

*DEFINE_CPG_GAS_PROPERTIES: Added Remark 3.

*DEFINE_CPM_GAS_PROPERTIES: Added LCMCF to Card 2. 

*DEFINE_CPM_NPDATA: Added to description of HCONV < 0 that the curve can now be specified with *DEFINE_CURVE_FUNCTION.

*DEFINE_DE_TO_CPG_COUPLING: New keyword.

*DEFINE_MATERIAL_HISTORIES: Added A1 = 2 in the table for A1 in the description of LABEL = Damage.

*DEFINE_STOCHASTIC_VARIATION: Added material 251 to the table in the remarks section.

*DEFINE_TWINBUILDER_COUPLING: Added paragraph after the purpose. Added Card 5. Added Remark 3. 

*FREQUENCY_DOMAIN_FRF: Added REDUCED keyword option and Remark 9.

*FREQUENCY_DOMAIN_PATH: Added RESIDUAL_VECTOR keyword option. Added sentence at the end of the purpose.

*IGA_FACE_XYZ: Changed the input in Card 2b.

*IGA_VOLUME_XYZ: Added Card 2b and Remark 3.

*INITIAL_FOAM_REFERENCE_GEOMETRY: Added material 91 to the list of materials in the purpose.

*INITIAL_STRESS_SECTION: Removed support for ELFORM = 13. Added Remark 6.

*INITIAL_TIED_CONTACT_DATA: New keyword. However, this keyword has existed for some time.

*INTERFACE_LINKING_SEGMENT: Added field DEATH. Added last two sentences to the remarks.

*SECTION_BEAM: Renamed SA to SAS on Card 2c and updated the description. Added SAT to Card 2c.

*SECTION_SOLID: Added material 251 to the list of materials in Remark 12.

*SENSOR_CONTROL: Added SIDR to Card 1a.

*SET_SEGMENT: Added SET and DSET as available settings for OPTION.

Error Fixes and Clarifications

*BOUNDARY_SALE_MESH_FACE: Added missing information for BCTYPE = PRES and FLOWVEL to NEG[X,Y,Z] and POS[X,Y,Z].

*CONTROL_EOS_USER_LIBRARY: Moved last sentence of the purpose into a new paragraph after the purpose to describe the issue with the default units.

*CONTROL_IMPLICIT_EIGENVALUE: Fixed last sentence of first paragraph in Remark 5. MXITER should be IPARM1, and BLKSIZ should be IPARM2.

*CONTROL_SPH: Added last sentence to Remark 1h to clarify that it is not using the structural implicit solver.

*DATABASE_OPTION: Added tables for abstat_cpg and abstat_cpm.

*DEFINE_ADAPTIVE_SOLID_TO_SPH: Added Remark 5.

*DEFINE_BOX_DRAWBEAD: Fixed types for PID, SID, and IDIR. Also fixed the default for IDIR.

*DEFINE_BOX_NODES_ADAPTIVE: Fixed types for NODE, LCX, LCY, LCZ, ITYPE, and NPIECE on Card 1.

*DEFINE_CPG_GAS_PROPERTIES. Fixed error in Remark 2. Viscosity should be thermal conductivity.

*DEFINE_CPG_REGION: DRTYP = 3 should be cylinder instead of sphere and DRTYP = 4 should be sphere insteady of cylinder.

*DEFINE_CURVE: Added last sentence to Remark 4c. 

*ELEMENT_DIRECT_MATRIX_INPUT: Changed sentence about binary input in the purpose to make it clearer.

*INITIAL_VELOCITY: Added Remarks 6 through 8.

*SECTION_SOLID: Element formulations -19 and -21 were missing from the first sentence in the description of COHOFF.
